A direct replacement for the original Ibanez® EDGE tremolo block. Includes (3) Extra-long Stainless Steel mounting screws
The 1/2" block will give you a great upgrade in tone and sustain with maximum space for trem movement - especially good for custom guitars that have smaller cavity for tremolo. The 5/8" block will provide you with full range on your arm in both directions on most standard EDGE routings, More mass than the 1/2" block adds more sustain, more tone and more BEEF. The 3/4" is made to sit against the inside lip of the cavity not allowing for upward movement but helping greatly with keeping in tune, return to pitch and adding extra sustain and resonance due to the added mass and added contact with the inside of your guitar's cavity. If you break a string, the 3/4" block will keep you in tune! This block will not work with all guitars! please be sure to take the correct measurements before ordering! The 3/4" block has centered mounting holes - meaning you must have at least 3/8" of space on each side from the center of your trem block. Please ask if you have any questions. Please be sure that the block height you are ordering will fit in your guitar's body. Some guitars may be equipped with the shorter 32mm but could fit a 42mm. Others will only accept the lesser height block. As some say "Mass=Sustain" - the bigger blocks will give you more sustain! |
